This feature is essential in outdoor, industrial, transportation, agricultural, and medical applications where equipment may be exposed to condensation, fog, rain, or rapid climate changes. Humidity resistance is achieved through sealing (frames, gaskets, adhesives), protective conformal coatings, and enclosures with high IP ratings. Specifications typically define the safe relative humidity range, such as 10–90% RH (non-condensing).
