This LCD-TFT display – thanks to a brightness of 1000 cd/m², a contrast ratio of 4900:1, and wide viewing angles of 89°/89°/89°/89° – guarantees optimal readability of content in various lighting conditions and at different viewing angles. How to prepare content for a triangular LCD-TFT display?
Working with a screen of an unusual shape requires a slightly different approach than in the case of classic rectangular panels. Below, we present step-by-step instructions on how to prepare graphics or video so that they display correctly on the triangular SSD3205-A panel.
- Project in full resolution
Materials (graphics, animation, film) should always be created in the standard resolution of the panel, i.e., 1920×1080 px. Thanks to this, the screen electronics receive the signal as with a regular rectangular display – no additional scaling is needed.
- Using a triangular mask
Although the project is prepared in a rectangle, the actually visible area has the form of a triangle. Therefore, it is worth applying a triangular mask in the working file. Thanks to this, it is immediately clear which elements will be within the user’s field of view and which will fall outside the screen and will not be displayed.
- Content composition
The most important information – e.g., logo, texts, or main graphic elements – should be placed inside the triangle. The areas outside the mask can be filled with background, but one must remember that they will not be visible on the screen. However, such an approach makes it easier to work in a rectangular file.
- Export and integration
Finished materials are saved in the standard resolution of 1920×1080 px (e.g., in MP4, JPG, or PNG format). The display will automatically show only the fragment fitting into the triangular shape – the rest will be cut off.
- Testing and adjustment
Before implementation, it is worth testing the materials on the physical panel. This way, you can make sure that the proportions and placement of elements are correct.

Content for triangular LCD-TFT displays is prepared the same way as for rectangular ones – in full resolution 1920×1080 px. The difference is that only at the design and testing stage is the triangular shape of the visible area taken into account.
