Digital Signage players by Advantech

The dynamic development of Digital Signage has forced changes not only in the field of display design but also in the multimedia players sector. The players designed for Digital Signage are professional devices ensuring smooth playback of promotional or informational materials in business and public locations.

As the official distributor of Advantech, Unisystem has introduced two series of Digital Signage players. Below you will find a brief characteristic of these devices.

The thinnest DS-082 products

DS-082 are the thinnest Digital Signage players in the world – their thickness is only 19mm. Powered by an AMD Ryzen V1000 or R1000 series processor (depending on the version), they can play movies with a resolution of up to 4K, ensuring excellent image quality and smoothness. Together with the device, we receive free access to an internet software for managing the displayed content.

The DS-082 products are equipped with 32 GB of RAM (DDR4) and the Win10 IoT (x64) operating system. Besides, they also support M.2 mass storage. They have three or four HDMI2.0 outputs (depending on the model), four USB outputs (2x USB2.0, 2x USB3.0), as well as one LAN input. A variant without a built-in fan is also available. The operating temperature range for this series is 0 – 40°C.

Ultra-compact DS-100 products

The DS-100 products are slightly larger than the palm of your hand – they are ultra-compact players created especially for retail, QSR applications in the IoT era. Players are powered by the latest ARM Cortex A-53 or A-72 processors, which guarantees impressive device performance. The Android 7.1 is pre-loaded in standard, while content management software is an option.

All DS-100 players have built-in 8 GB RAM (DDR3) and support 16 GB eMMC mass memory. Two independent HDMI outputs allow you to play media with a maximum resolution of UHD 4k 60Hz + FHD 1080P. Also, the devices are equipped with two LAN ports and two USB ports (1x USB2.0, 1x USB3.0).

The DS-100 series was created for trouble-free, continuous, efficient operation; therefore, it does not have built-in movable elements (including fans) and thus does not generate noise, which could be problematic in some locations. The operating temperature range for this series is 0-60°C.

Both devices can be mounted using the VESA system.
