On 22 October 2026, we’ll be exhibiting at Evertiq Expo at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. The event brings together specialists, manufacturers and suppliers from across the electronics industry. At our stand, we’ll showcase a range of display technologies, including TFT LCDs from our own Lite, Core and Pro lines. Visitors can see the solutions firsthand, compare capabilities, and discuss specific application requirements and possible ways to meet them with the Unisystem team.

Compare the brightness of our Lite, Core and Pro lines

How does brightness affect the way content looks on a screen? At one of our demo stations, we’ll place three 10.1-inch modules from our Lite, Core and Pro lines side by side. Visitors will be able to compare how the image appears at different brightness levels:

  • Unisystem Lite – modules for indoor devices operating in stable conditions; brightness of 600 cd/m², or 500 cd/m² in variants with a touch panel and cover glass.
  • Unisystem Core – industrial-grade modules designed for intensive use; brightness of 750–1,000 cd/m², or 600–900 cd/m² in variants with a touch panel and cover glass.
  • Unisystem Pro – modules for outdoor devices, including those operating in demanding conditions; brightness of 2,000 cd/m², or 1,700 cd/m² in variants with a touch panel and cover glass.

Try our solutions for yourself

At our stand, visitors can also test a setup built around a 12.1-inch TFT LCD from our Core line with a touch panel. We’ve paired it with an RTscan scanner and three capacitive touch buttons developed by Unisystem. The demo applications run on a SpaceSOM-8Mplus (SLS35) SoM mounted on a SpaceCB-8Mplus-ADV carrier board, both from SoMLabs. We cover these components in more detail in our article.

We’ve prepared three ways for visitors to interact with the setup. Each is activated by scanning a different QR code with the scanner included in it. Depending on the option selected, visitors can:

  • learn about Unisystem by watching a short film introducing what we do;
  • try the touch panel by exploring three sample interfaces: an EV charger, a coffee machine and a parcel locker. Each can be tested independently;
  • test the capacitive touch buttons by using three UCB045-RGB-CMFDV1 buttons to control a character in a game developed by the Unisystem team.

Our capacitive touch button senses touch through cover glass, can be operated while wearing gloves and continues to work reliably even when liquid is present on the glass surface. These features are useful in operator panels, self-service terminals and medical devices. RGB backlighting can indicate device status or confirm an action, while an optional buzzer can provide audible feedback.

OLED and EPD – Different Approaches to Displaying Information

Alongside TFT LCDs, we’ll also showcase OLED displays and EPD (e-paper). Each technology suits different applications and offers distinct advantages in how it presents content and uses energy.

In an OLED, each pixel emits its own light, so the screen needs no separate backlight. This enables high contrast, wide viewing angles and fast response times. OLED is well suited to compact devices, operator panels and applications where readability and a slim module profile matter. In our article, we explain how the technology works and what it can offer.

EPD works differently. Once an image appears, it remains visible without continuous power; energy is needed mainly when the content changes. This makes EPD a good fit for applications where information is updated relatively infrequently and low power consumption matters, such as electronic labels, signage and battery-powered devices. Read more in our article.

At our stand, we’ll be happy to discuss which technology best meets your application’s requirements.

Let’s talk about your project

Evertiq Expo is an opportunity to discuss the specific requirements of your application – from operating conditions and user interaction to device design and expected production volumes – and explore solutions that could meet them. Our team can advise on display selection, customization options and the next steps in your project. For more complex challenges, our Solution Department brings together expertise in electronics, mechanical design and software.

To see how this process works in practice, read our interview with Jacek Marcinkowski, CTO at Unisystem: “Solution” in Practice – How Unisystem Responds to Real Customer Challenges.
