30 Years of Unisystem – A Celebration of People, Ideas, and Technology

On October 3, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sopot, we celebrated a remarkable milestone in our company’s history – Unisystem’s 30th anniversary. From the very beginning, we wanted this event to be more than just a jubilee celebration. That’s why we divided it into two parts: a conference and a banquet. This combination created a space not only for celebration but also for exchanging ideas and bringing together people fascinated by technology and driven by the energy to create.

A Sentimental Journey Through Unisystem’s History

The celebration began with a presentation about Unisystem, during which the Management Board – Sławomir Szweda and Kamil Kozłowski – summarized 30 years of the company’s development: from a one-person business founded by Sławomir Szweda, through the joint activities with Kamil Kozłowski since 2010, to its current position as one of the leaders in the information display solutions market. During the presentation, we revisited the most important moments in our history, project achievements, and the directions we will pursue in the coming years.

This part of the event was more than just a summary – it was a symbolic journey through the successive stages of Unisystem’s growth. It offered an opportunity to reflect on how the world of technology has changed while proving that our values – reliability, partnership, and openness to innovation – remain constant.

Innovation from Technology Partners

The following point on the agenda featured presentations by our technology partners – Winstar, Litemax, DFI, Engicam, and BOE. Each representative was invited to take the stage and share their perspective on the development of the industry. The speakers included Venson Liao and Ken Liao from Winstar, Tim Liang from Litemax, Darcie Lin from DFI, Massimo Manetti from Engicam, and Christina Balk from BOE.

We would like to thank them for their presentations, which demonstrated that technology is not only about progress but also about responding to user needs. The projects we carry out together – combining different perspectives – allow us to anticipate expectations and set new directions for the future.

Panel Discussion: “How Technology Changes Our Lives – The Future of HMI in Europe”

One of the most anticipated parts of the conference was the debate titled “How Technology Changes Our Lives – The Future of HMI in Europe. The Role of Modern Interfaces in Shaping Everyday Experiences and the Importance of Designing and Manufacturing Technological Solutions in Europe for Ensuring Independence.” The panel featured Jarek Borawski (CREM), Marek Gabryś (AIUT), and Piotr Zbysiński (SoMLabs), moderated by Kamil Kozłowski.

During the debate, participants raised questions that became the starting point for a lively exchange of ideas: how do different industries understand the concept of “modern HMI”? what challenges do interface designers face? how do technology companies in Poland achieve global success? and what does Europe’s “technological independence” mean in practice? These topics opened up a space for sharing experiences and perspectives, showing the scale of challenges and responsibilities currently facing the technology industry.

The debate showed that HMI is not just about technology but above all about how people interact with machines – and Europe has the potential to play a significant role in this process. It was an inspiring conversation, rich in knowledge and diverse viewpoints, serving as the perfect complement to the conference’s substantive part.

Image Workshop with Tomasz Kammel

The final element of the conference program was the workshop “The Art of Presentation and Public Speaking,” conducted by Tomasz Kammel.

The workshop was filled with practical advice and reflections on how to speak to be heard and how to communicate to build genuine relationships. Participants learned four key principles that help create messages that increase communication effectiveness:

  • smile – a simple gesture that breaks the distance, opens the conversation, and builds a sense of safety,
  • positive tension – not stress, but energy that can be directed toward the audience and used as a tool to strengthen the presentation,
  • focus and competence – knowledge of the topic is essential because even a slight advantage in expertise enhances credibility,
  • connection with the audience – listeners must feel seen and valued, as this builds rapport and mutual trust.

We believe that every participant took away valuable insights from this workshop that will help them feel even more confident during presentations and public speaking.

An Evening Full of Energy and Emotion

The final part of the program was a gala banquet, which perfectly crowned the anniversary celebration. The star of the evening was Danzel – his performance had guests dancing from the very first song and set the tone for an energetic night that lasted until the end.

The banquet was not only an opportunity for shared celebration but also for relaxed networking, conversations, and exchanging experiences in an informal atmosphere. And there was plenty to celebrate – statistics show that most companies close within the first 25 to 36 months. Unisystem not only survived that critical period but has been successfully developing for 30 years. That’s truly an exceptional achievement we can all be proud of.

Our anniversary celebration showed that Unisystem’s true strength lies in its people – full of passion, commitment, and creative energy. It’s thanks to them that we can look to the future with optimism and believe that the coming decades will bring even more success.
