YouTube API Services – Privacy Notice

This notice describes how Unisystem Video Publisher, an internal tool of UNISYSTEM Sp. z o.o., ul. Nowy Świat 36, 80-299 Gdańsk, Poland, uses YouTube API Services. The tool is used exclusively by Unisystem’s marketing team to publish Unisystem’s own videos to our YouTube channel @UnisystemPl. It is not offered to external users.

YouTube API Services

Unisystem Video Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using the tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Data processed by YouTube and Google is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

What data the tool accesses

After authorization by our channel manager (Google OAuth 2.0), the tool accesses only our own YouTube channel:

  • basic channel information (channel name and ID, list of our uploaded videos);
  • metadata of our videos: titles, descriptions, tags, language and visibility status;
  • caption (subtitle) tracks of our videos;
  • video and subtitle files that we upload to our channel.

The tool does not access other channels, comments, viewers’ personal data, YouTube Analytics or advertising data.

How the data is used

The data is used only to upload our own videos to our channel as private, to set and update their titles, descriptions, chapters, tags, language and subtitles, and to verify the result. The tool never changes the visibility of a video; videos are published manually by an employee in YouTube Studio.

Storage, sharing and deletion

We do not store, cache, sell or share data obtained through YouTube API Services. Information returned by the API is displayed only temporarily in the terminal of the employee running the tool. The tool does not use cookies and does not collect information from users’ devices.

The OAuth access credential (refresh token) is stored only on a company computer used by our marketing team and is not shared with third parties. It is deleted when access is revoked or when the tool is no longer used.

Revoking access

Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
