Description
The VisionSOM-6ULL family by SoMLabs consists of compact SoM (System-on-Module) modules in SODIMM form factor, based on the NXP i.MX 6ULL processor with a single-core ARM Cortex-A7 up to 900 MHz. It is a proven platform for embedded systems where small size, low power consumption, and the ability to tailor configuration to project requirements are essential.
The modules are highly integrated solutions, combining processing capabilities with extensive communication options. Depending on the variant, they offer various DDR3L memory configurations and storage options: NAND Flash, eMMC, or microSD card support, enabling alignment of the platform with hardware and software requirements.
The VisionSOM-6ULL family provides a wide range of interfaces, including Ethernet 10/100 Mb/s, USB 2.0 OTG, UART, I2C, SPI, RGB, FlexCAN, and ADC, facilitating integration with displays, touch panels, and other system components.
The modules are available in temperature grades: consumer (0 to +70°C), extended (-25 to +70°C - in variants with Wi-Fi/BLE), and industrial (-40 to +85°C - in variants without Wi-Fi/BLE), allowing selection of the appropriate version for the target operating environment.
The platform supports Linux (Yocto, Debian, Buildroot), providing flexibility in software design and integration. The presented parameters apply to the entire product family and may vary depending on the specific module variant. The products are marked as “CRA ready”, compliant with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act.
