RT214B – 2D OEM Barcode Scan Module

The RT214B OEM 2D and QR Barcode Scan Module is a high-performance, compact barcode scanning solution designed for a variety of applications. It supports both 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR and DM codes, with automatic reading and command trigger functionality. The module is available in two sizes: 21.2(W)×10.5(D)×14.2(H) mm and an optional 21.3(W)×9(D)×7(H) mm, ensuring versatility for different integration needs.

For connectivity, the RT214B offers TTL-232, USB EVK kit, and RS232 EVK kit options (optional). It is engineered for low power consumption and delivers super-fast barcode reading from both paper and screens. Compatible with Windows, Linux, Android, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi, this module is ideal for use in ATMs, lockers, vending machines, ticketing machines, and courier cabinets.

Launched in 2021, the RT214B is noted for its excellent barcode reading performance and low power consumption. Its compact design aligns with the fixing screw positions and front dimensions of RTscan’s RT206 and RT208 barcode scan modules, making it suitable for various terminals such as hospital self-service terminals, self-service vending machines, coffee vending machines, self-service ticket machines, advertising players, ticket gates, and more.

This module features state-of-the-art technology, ensuring stable quality and excellent reading performance. It can easily read poor quality barcodes, including damaged, low contrast, torn, warped, or wrinkled barcodes. The automatic reading function detects and reads barcodes when they are presented. Its advanced technology ensures low power consumption, extending the scan engine’s service life.

For integration, we provide a 3D-Drawing and integration guide to support quick and easy setup with your terminals. Optional integration accessories, including screws, flat cables, connectors, and USB/RS232 EVK kits, are available upon request.

The RT214B can be controlled via commands for functions like reading and illumination. We offer detailed documentation and video presentations to guide you through command control and programming. Setup is straightforward with setting codes provided in the user manual, and we also provide a video guide to assist with the process.
