RT001 Module Overview: The RT001 is a network kit board specifically designed for barcode scanner networking applications. It allows USB interface barcode scanners to connect to networks through WiFi or Ethernet and transmit data to cloud servers using protocols such as TCP, SSL, HTTP, and MQTT. Additionally, it supports local device connections via Bluetooth BLE and BLE-HID.

Functional Block Diagram: The RT001 module integrates a WiFi module, an Ethernet module, and a USB host. The built-in relay can control devices such as electromagnetic locks, making it a cost-effective solution for access control systems. This integration reduces installation and wiring costs while shortening the installation time.

Function Description:

Input Method: The RT001 functions as a USB host device, reading data from USB devices via the USB interface. It supports USB CDC protocol devices, converting scanned data from USB to serial port devices, and transmitting this data to servers through various network connections.

Output Method: The RT001 can output data to remote servers or mobile phones via WiFi, Ethernet, or Bluetooth.

Supporting Protocols: The RT001 supports multiple transmission protocols:

  • TCP: Standard socket communication for maintaining long connections with servers, allowing data and instructions to pass between the server and USB device.
  • SSL: Encrypted TCP communication.
  • HTTP/HTTPS: POST method for submitting data read from USB devices to the server.
  • MQTT: Supports any MQTT broker, enabling devices to subscribe and publish topics for data transmission.
